My foxhound, Chance was diagnosed with a benign nasal tumor in the summer of 2024, which was causing minor nosebleeds, he was 11 at the time. He underwent a major surgery to remove the tumor. Unfortunately the doctors couldn't remove all of it, but they did get most. Since it was benign, there was not too much more to do. After the surgery, everything was fine for the first year. By the late summer of 2025 Chance began to develop nosebleeds again. They weren't major, but still upsetting. It was early November 2025 when he had his first major bleed. Upon rushing him to our local hospital, they suggested to start using Yunnan Baiyao Capsules. I had never heard of it before, but was willing to try anything. Chance began taking two capsules three times a day, (he was 80 pounds). He would take them early morning, late afternoon and late at night. I didn't think they would work, but to my astonishment, the nose bleeds stopped. Over the next four months, Chance was completely back to normal. He suffered just one nose bleed in late December, but that was all. This drug gave me an additional four months of fun with by boy. Chance just passed away on March 5th approaching the age of 14. The tumor had started to effect his swallowing, so I could not allow that to continue. He died at home in my arms. He enjoyed life right to the end, and without Yunnan Baiyao, I'm convinced I would have lost him back in November. Four extra months in a dog's life is a lot. It gave us one more set of holidays together, and for that, I'm so grateful!!!

I ordered the Yunnan Baiyo powder and was sent a box of capsules. I wanted to start using it right away and so, I just kept them.
I keep this on hand as it was recommended by an ER Vet for my dog after a copperhead snake bite - we have along of those around and I have 9 dogs…. I use it on the rare occasion a dog get a small hematoma in it’s ear leather and before I started doing my own tail docking the pups would always pop the Vet stitches that were put in when momma cleaned her pups… so I’d dip tail end in this powder. An all around good powder to have on hand.
Amber now has twice the Energy and her poops have turned from black to healthy brown! It took a while to adjust the dosage and days for both Y B and turkey tail but I am thrilled!
2 star review is for the customer service. NOT the product. The product is fantastic!! I was missing the dosage scoop, I reached out to the company and got no response. That was very disappointing, but I have nothing negative to say about the product itself. No more nosebleeds since I started giving it to my senior dog.
Upon vet’s recommendation for my cavapoo with perianal cancer I ordered this along with the capsules and applied Yunnan Baiyao topically dusting the 4 huge external tumors as well as ingesting twice a day. Within weeks the tumors began shrinking and from a fist-size they are down to a quarter-size in months. My dog is lively and been taking Life Gold to feel better which works too.
The oncologist and vet are surprised; chemo had caused tumors to grow.

My 15 year old dog has a cancerous tumor in his spleen and in his liver as well. Because he also has congestive heart failure both are inoperable. I give him Yunnan Baiyao to help prevent bleeding from his tumors. I believe it helps him. He is still taking hour long walks and loving life. Thank you for being a part of that for him. Yunnan Baiyao can stop some cancers from bleeding. As a veterinarian, I have seen dogs with nasal tumors sneezing blood profusely. I have also seen the bleeding stop when the dogs were started on Yunnan Baiyao.
The powder is easily administered by mixing it into a meal. Although it has a floral type scent, this has caused no hesitation in my pet eating his meal.
Ziggy is still living life to the fullest! Diagnosed with a Hemangiocarcinoma back in January and was given 6 months to live. Now we are at 9 months! We are shooting for a year. Most days are good. Our 12 year old, 90 pound mixed breed was diagnosed with splenic hemangiosarcoma on July 13, 2022, and our vet said he'd likely pass within 1-6 weeks. Our dog was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor on his spleen in April 2021. I started using Yunnan Baiyao almost immediately. He has only had one incident since then when he presented with his original symptoms that led to the diagnosis, I gave him one of the "red" pills and he recovered by the next day. He is still a happy boy, doing well and I am thankful for this time with him.

Yunnan Baiyao has been helping to keep my golden retriever with Cardiac Hemangiosarcoma alive for over 2 months now. Most dogs die within a few days to a few weeks. The powder form is much cheaper than the capsule form, so if you’re using this drug long term, it does save a lot of money.
