Yunnan Baiyao Powder for Pets

My foxhound, Chance was diagnosed with a benign nasal tumor in the summer of 2024, which was causing minor nosebleeds, he was 11 at the time. He underwent a major surgery to remove the tumor. Unfortunately the doctors couldn't remove all of it, but they did get most. Since it was benign, there was not too much more to do. After the surgery, everything was fine for the first year. By the late summer of 2025 Chance began to develop nosebleeds again. They weren't major, but still upsetting. It was early November 2025 when he had his first major bleed. Upon rushing him to our local hospital, they suggested to start using Yunnan Baiyao Capsules. I had never heard of it before, but was willing to try anything. Chance began taking two capsules three times a day, (he was 80 pounds). He would take them early morning, late afternoon and late at night. I didn't think they would work, but to my astonishment, the nose bleeds stopped. Over the next four months, Chance was completely back to normal. He suffered just one nose bleed in late December, but that was all. This drug gave me an additional four months of fun with by boy. Chance just passed away on March 5th approaching the age of 14. The tumor had started to effect his swallowing, so I could not allow that to continue. He died at home in my arms. He enjoyed life right to the end, and without Yunnan Baiyao, I'm convinced I would have lost him back in November. Four extra months in a dog's life is a lot. It gave us one more set of holidays together, and for that, I'm so grateful!!!

I ordered the Yunnan Baiyo powder and was sent a box of capsules. I wanted to start using it right away and so, I just kept them.

I keep this on hand as it was recommended by an ER Vet for my dog after a copperhead snake bite - we have along of those around and I have 9 dogs…. I use it on the rare occasion a dog get a small hematoma in it’s ear leather and before I started doing my own tail docking the pups would always pop the Vet stitches that were put in when momma cleaned her pups… so I’d dip tail end in this powder. An all around good powder to have on hand.

Amber now has twice the Energy and her poops have turned from black to healthy brown! It took a while to adjust the dosage and days for both Y B and turkey tail but I am thrilled!

2 star review is for the customer service. NOT the product. The product is fantastic!! I was missing the dosage scoop, I reached out to the company and got no response. That was very disappointing, but I have nothing negative to say about the product itself. No more nosebleeds since I started giving it to my senior dog.
